About Launceston Group
We are a friendly, active and welcoming group of beekeepers centered on Launceston. This does not mean that you can only belong if you live within the town itself. Our members come from Altarnun, Calstock, North Petherwin, St Clether and even over the border in Okehampton and Bratton Clovelly. So we cover a wide area as you can see.
We range in experience and ability from beginner beekeepers to those who have only been working with bees for a few seasons and we have some members who have been beekeeping for many decades.
We offer a range of instructional meetings, apiary visits and social gatherings. Our members delight in sharing their experience and knowledge and they are keen to pass on to all new members.
